On-Site Tours

The ASRC Whiteface Mountain field station occassionaly provides on-site tours for small groups of
students (<10). Tours could include the base site and summit observatory. At the
base site, participants have the opportunity to get an inside view of:
- NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Division of Air Resources monitoring trailer
- National Atmospheric Deposition Program precipitation monitoring site
- US EPA Clean Air Status and Trends Network dry deposition monitoring site
- NYS Mesonet site

The summit observatory tour might include a look into:
- Trace gas measurements and instrumentation
- Meteorological measurements and instrumentation
- Cloud water collection and instrumentation
