Please Note: On-Site tours of the ASRC Whiteface Mountain Field Station are suspended until further notice due to COVID-19.

The ASRC Whiteface Mountain field station occassionaly provides on-site tours for small groups of students (<10). Tours could include the Marble Mountain lodge site and summit observatory. At the Marble Mountain Lodge participants have the opportunity to get an inside view of:

1. New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Division of Air Resources monitoring trailer
2. National Atmospheric Deposition Program precipitation monitoring site
3. USEPA Clean Air Status and Trends Network dry deposition monitoring site
4. New York State Mesonet site

The summit observatory tour might include a look into:

1. Trace gas measurements and instrumentation
2. Meteorological measurements and instrumentation
3. Cloud water collection and instrumentation
